Instructions for oral presenters

Follow/Respect the time limits as indicated in the programme:

  • Oral presentations 20 minutes (15 minutes lecture and 5 minutes discussion).
  • Oral presentations 15 minutes (12 minutes lecture and 3 minutes discussion).
  • Oral presentations 12 minutes (10 minutes lecture and 2 minutes discussion).
  • Oral presentations 10 minutes (8 minutes lecture and 2 minutes discussion).

Key points for presenters: PC users
Please use Microsoft PowerPoint 2016* (*pptx), or Adobe Acrobat Reader (.pdf) to ensure they will open successfully on an on-site PC.
Please note that use of individual PC laptops is not permitted.
Only video codecs and fonts, as detailed below, will be supported.

Key points for presenters: Mac users
Please note that presentations from Mac computers are possible only with prior arrangement with technical room staff and appropriate adapter to HDMI.

Preparing your presentation

  • PowerPoint: Please ensure that you are using provided ECVF-UIA PPT template that can be downloaded.
  • In accordance with the guidelines outlined in the EACMME rules, it is required to include a disclosure slide in the presentation.
  • Movies/videos: Please take steps to compress your videos. We can only accept movies created as MPGs, WMVs, or with the following AVI codecs: H.264, MPEG-4 (Divx, Xvid, or WMVs), Indeo, Cinepack, Techsmith.
  • Mandatory second slide is disclosure of conflicts

At the conference:
Slide submission:
Presenters should submit their presentation to the Speaker's centre in Second Foyer (level 2) no later than 2 hours prior to their scheduled presentation or one session in advance.
At the session:
Please arrive at your respective meeting room at least 10 minutes before the start of your session. Take time to familiarize yourself with the setup at the lectern, meet your chairperson, and address any issues with the technician.

Instructions for poster presenters

Poster Size and Template

  • The presenting authors are requested to personally bring their posters to the conference rather than mailing them ahead. The required dimensions are 90 cm (width) by 140-180 cm (height) - size chart.
  • At the top of the poster, please provide the title of the paper, names of the authors and their affiliations, all in bold lettering of about 3 to 4 cm in size. Please note that artwork and lettering should be large and clear enough to ensure that the poster is legible from a distance of 1.5 m.
  • We ask you to prepare the poster using the prepared footer of CEVF-IUA 2024 congress.

Poster Numbers

  • Poster numbers will be provided by the conference and available on your poster board.
    Scotch tape will be available to facilitate attaching posters to the boards.

Poster Session

  • Posters will be displayed in the Second Foyer all the time during the congress. Display boards will be numbered. Scotch tape will be available to facilitate attaching posters to the boards.
